The BridgeMusik Virtual Summer Festival provides an interactive, hands-on music festival experience in which students are empowered by mentorship with inspiring musical coaches. The dynamic faculty brings a wealth of teaching experience in the virtual realm to this innovative program. The program is differentiated according to age levels and students from age 5 - 18 are nurtured in a safe and inspirational environment at BridgeMusik.3 PROGRAM OPTIONS:

OPTION 2 - Two weeks (five days per week)

Live concerts at 4 PM on July 31 and August 8
Live rehearsal and performance fee: $100 (includes both days and free admission for 4 audience members to both concerts)
Concerts will be socially distanced and will be scheduled outdoors, weather permitting. BridgeMusik will make contingency plans for indoor performances in case of inclement weather.
There are several local hotels which are conveniently located in Orangetown, NY. All participants are responsible for food, lodging and transportation costs.
Live events are optional for students within commuting distance and will take place in historic venues in beautiful Orangetown, NY. Students will have the opportunity to perform solo and ensemble music which has been studied during the Festival. Students will have the chance to perform alongside professional musicians in these final performances.

In case of inclement weather, concerts on July 31 and August 8 will take place at Tappan Reformed Church, 32 Old Tappan Church, Tappan, NY
** Final zoom recitals at the conclusion of each week in which students will play their solos (Friday, July 30 and Friday, August 6) during approximately the last 90 minutes of the session.**
Out of town students are also welcome to participate in the Lincoln Center events.
Students who opt for the THREE day/ week program will:
• Receive semi-private instrumental instruction with a faculty member
• Participate in masterclasses for their instrument group
• Perform in a large virtual ensemble
• Record small and large ensemble music which has been especially arranged and composed for BridgeMusik
• Participate in physically engaging activities such as Yoga and Movement for Musicians
Students who opt for the FIVE day/ week program
will
participate in all of the above activities (three day program) PLUS
creative programming on Tuesdays and Thursdays according to their interest.
Students will select from creative options including:
• Composing for young musicians
• Creating original music videos
• Movement and music
• Visual arts and music
• Architecture and music - envisioning a new performing arts center using Minecraft as a tool (students must have access to their own Minecraft software using Java)
