ANDREW TROMBLEY DOUBLE BASS
Andrew Trombley, a native of Monticello, NY, holds positions as Principal Bass of the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra,
Principal Bass of the New Haven Symphony, section bass of the Stamford Symphony Orchestra. In 2016 in partnership with Nesin
Cultural Arts and with generous grant from the Sullivan County Legislator, he along with his wife, violinist Akiko Hosoi,
founded the Sullivan County Chamber Orchestra (SCCO). Presently he serves SCCO as the Artistic Director and Principal Bass.
Andrew has performed with the world’s leading ensembles including the New York Philharmonic, The Minnesota Orchestra,
The Mostly Mozart Festival, Metropolitan Opera, and others. He has performed as a soloist with Chelsea Symphony Orchestra and
the Eleva Chamber Players. Andrew can also be heard on soundtracks for films “A Dog’s Purpose,” “Zoolander 2,” “Hundred Foot
Journey” the Oscar award-winning film “Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close” as well as as well as the Aldebugh Music Festival’s
centennial celebration recording of “Peter Grimes”.
